With this larger-scale project, I explored my desire to create a sense of home by sculpting this inner space to form 'a room of one's own.' One that serves as an invitation to touch and connect with our surroundings.

It was Valentine Schlegel's 'sculpture à vivre' (sculpture to live) that inspired me to undertake this project.

Subsequently, two separate internships in plasterwork empowered me to pursue it.

During the process, I alternated between using tools and working with my hands, feeling the heat emanating from the drying plaster.
